What do you do when you're not at CFA?

Love to hangout with my wife and two kids.

What led you to Crossfit and CFA specifically?

I was bored with the traditional gyms, and wanted a new challenge.

When did you realize that CrossFit is right for you?

After running 5k without walking.

Do you remember your first WOD?

Not exactly but I remember feeling like I could hardly move afterwards.

What movement do you despise over everything and why?  

Devils Press, needs no explanation.

What has been your all-time favorite moment at CFA?

Every time I hit a new PR.

What motivates you during a tough workout?

Trying to not finish in last.

If you could write your own workout for a day, what would it be?

Running and pull-ups. Two things I need improvement in.

What are your goals going forward and what do you think will help you achieve them?

To keep getting one more day healthier. Just keep moving.

What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health, and fitness or just day to day life since starting CrossFit (before/after?)

Stronger, faster, and just overall feeling healthier.

What would you recommend to someone who is just starting out with CrossFit or is too afraid to try it?

Just take the leap and show up. Everything can be scaled down so you never really feel defeated. It's hard and can be scary at first but it's so worth it.

If you could have one skill or characteristic of another member at CFA what and from whom would it be? Or which other CFA member are you the most motivated by? 

I don't think I can pick one. I admire a lot of the people I workout with and find a good attitude inspirational.

Chad has been with us for awhile now and is definitely a staple at our 5:45am class. Not only has he improved in all elements of his fitness but he also has found ways to get his family involved into CrossFit and made some new friends along the way. Chad is a good example of showing up consistently & giving it his all each and every day. Keep up the hard work Chad, we are proud of you!!
